Horror may appear most prominently through movies and video games, but it’s had just as successful a life on television as those other mediums. You go back to the Gothic-inspired soap opera Dark Shadows to the FX anthology series American Horror Story.
The 90s, in particular, were home to a renaissance of such scary ventures. Unfortunately, a lot of these were unable to find an audience and fell into obscurity.
