Amy Adams to re-team with Adam McKay for Kings of America miniseries

August 6, 2020 by Ricky Church

Amy Adams will re-team with her Vice director Adam McKay in the Netflix miniseries Kings of America. Adams will also executive produce the series alongside McKay and Stacy O’Neil through their company Bond Group Entertainment.

Kings of America follows “the stories of three powerful women whose lives were inextricably intertwined with the world’s largest company: a Walmart heiress, a maverick executive, and a longtime Walmart saleswoman and preacher who dared to fight against the retail giant in the biggest class action lawsuit in US history.”

The miniseries was created and written by Jess Kimball Leslie with Diana Son (13 Reasons Why) serving as showrunner. As well as producing, McKay will direct the first episode of the series, while Adams will portray one of the three leads.
