Trailer for Sundance winner Minari starring Steven Yeun

September 30, 2020 by Amie Cranswick

A24 has released a poster and trailer for the Sundance Grand Jury Prize and Audience Award winner Minari from writer-director Lee Isaac Chung.

The 80s-set drama follows a Korean-American family as they move to a small farm in Arkansas in search of their own American dream and features a cast that includes Steven Yeun (The Walking Dead) alongside Yeri Han, Alan Kim, Noel Kate Cho, and Yuh-Jung Youn.

Watch the trailer here…

A tender and sweeping story about what roots us, Minari follows a Korean-American family that moves to a tiny Arkansas farm in search of their own American Dream. The family home changes completely with the arrival of their sly, foul-mouthed, but incredibly loving grandmother. Amidst the instability and challenges of this new life in the rugged Ozarks, Minari shows the undeniable resilience of family and what really makes a home.

Minari is currently without a release date, but is listed as ‘Coming Soon’ by A24.
