Command & Conquer Has a Free Fan-Made “Sequel” That You Should Check Out

October 1, 2020 by Red Stewart

CryMor Gaming presents the forgotten follow-up to Command & Conquer and its free fan-made remake…

The real-time strategy or RTS genre blew up after the release of Command & Conquer in 1995. Here was a video game that you could not blitz your way through ala a puzzle platformer or bullet hell shooter. Instead, you had to be smart, strategic, and patient- conserve your resources and unleash fire and brimstone when appropriate.

Nowadays, fans of the RTS only know C&C for its terrible mobile releases courtesy of EA. But there was a time when the franchise was so successful it was pumping out yearly sequels. So much so that one of the better ones, Command & Conquer: Renegade, went under the radar.

Why does it stand out from its brothers? Well, thanks to the folks at CryMor Gaming, we have an answer! Check out their video here…
