The Walking Dead season 10’s bonus episodes will reveal more about Maggie’s return

The announced bonus episodes for The Walking Dead season 10 will shed some light on Maggie’s return to the show.

Maggie had been vacant from The Walking Dead ever since season nine. She returned. however, in the season 10 finale but there are questions that need answering.

Fortunately, AMC is releasing six additional episodes in early 2021 that will explore where Maggie has been. The show is referring to these installments as ‘bridge episodes’ and showrunner Angela King has revealed some details at a virtual New York Comic-Con panel (via ComicBook.com:

“We’re really going to see an episode with Maggie when she comes back since we just got to see her for a little bit in the finale that just aired. A bunch of our cast is featured, you’re gonna see some great stuff. We’ll find out more about the group that is on the road trip.”

Actress Lauren Cohan added: “The first episode of the ‘bridge’ is, for me, the most exciting Walking Dead episode I’ve ever read.”

The Walking Dead is set to end with its upcoming eleventh season, but Walking Dead fans certainly can’t complain about having enough content to enjoy with Fear the Walking Dead, The Walking Dead: World Beyond, and the upcoming Rick Grimes movie and the Daryl and Carol spinoff series.
