Devious Horror Villains From the VHS Era Who Deserve More Love!

February 15, 2021 by Red Stewart

Marvelous Videos with a selection of devious horror villains who deserve more love…

Back when Blockbuster was still a retail force to be reckoned with, readers may recall the horror section of the shop. This was an unofficial “adults only” area that was meant to be a showcase for all kinds of terrifying thrillers, ranging from the mainstream successes to off-the-radar indie productions.

Chances are, if you were a Carpenter or Cronenberg fan, you missed some of the more kooky and “out there” monstrosities that graced the covers of many VHS tapes: attempts at garnering notoriety from prospective horror enthusiasts that their marketing budgets could not naturally do.

Sadly, these attempts failed, but thanks to the Marvelous Videos, we are going to try to give eleven of these villains a new life at reaching a new audience; check out the video here…
