March 29, 2021 by Matt Rodgers

Now that Lionsgate and Twisted Pictures have solved the puzzle of when to release Spiral: From the Book of Saw by announcing a May 14th release date, it appears that the timer on the marketing has begun counting down to zero with the cast posting teaser images ahead of a trailer for the Saw spinoff arriving tomorrow, March 30th.

A criminal mastermind unleashes a twisted form of justice in Spiral, the terrifying new chapter from the book of Saw. Working in the shadow of his father, an esteemed police veteran (Samuel L. Jackson), brash Detective Ezekiel “Zeke” Banks (Chris Rock) and his rookie partner (Max Minghella) take charge of a grisly investigation into murders that are eerily reminiscent of the city’s gruesome past.  Unwittingly entrapped in a deepening mystery, Zeke finds himself at the center of the killer’s morbid game.

Spiral: From the Book of Saw stars Chris Rock, Samuel L. Jackson, Max Minghella, and Marisol Nichols, with Darren Lynn Bousman returning to the world of Jigsaw for the ninth instalment.
