First look at Neill Blomkamp’s supernatural horror Demonic

Last year, District 9 director Neill Blomkamp shot a secret supernatural horror film titled Demonic, and now we’ve got our very first look at the project thanks to two images along with some 8mm behind-the-scenes footage from the set; check them out here along with the official synopsis…

A young woman unleashes terrifying demons when supernatural forces at the root of a decades old rift between mother and daughter are ruthlessly revealed in this horror-thriller from director Neill Blomkamp.

Demonic stars Carly Pope, Chris William Martin and Michael Rogers and is set for release in cinemas on August 20th, followed by Digital and On Demand from August 27th.
