Godzilla Rip-Offs That Are So Bad They’re Good!

Marvelous Videos presents ten Godzilla knock-offs…

You don’t create a pop culture monstrosity like Godzilla without expecting a slew of rip-offs and clones. The big lizard/dragon/nuclear reactor hybrid stamped his foot on Eastern and Western cultures when he debuted in 1954, jumpstarting the Kaiju genre in Asia, Europe, and the United States.

Were any of these efforts good? Of course. But were most faulty to a large extent? Definitely. That being said, we still got a laugh out of the cheap production value and attempts at being “big and scary” that a lot of these pictures marketed themselves on.
