Marvel’s WandaVision leads 2021 MTV Movie & TV Awards nominations

MTV has announced the nominations for this year’s MTV Movie & TV Awards, with Marvel Studios’ first foray into television, the Disney+ series WandaVision, leading the field with nods in five categories: Best Show, Best Performance in a Show (Elizabeth Olsen), Best Hero (Teyonah Parris), Best Villain (Kathryn Hahn) and Best Fight (Wanda vs. Agatha).

WandaVision contests Best Show against Bridgerton, Cobra Kai, Emily in Paris and The Boys, while the nominations for Best Movie include awards season favourites Borat Subsequent Moviefilm, Judas and the Black Messiah, Promising Young Woman, Soul, and awards season virgin To All the Boys: Always and Forever.
