Narrative adventure Where the Heart Leads available for pre-order

June 3, 2021 by Andrew Newton

Resident Evil 4 VR and ReCore developer, Armature Studio, has announced that pre-orders are now available for their narrative adventure Where the Heart Leads via the Playstation Store for the PS4 and PS5 (thanks to backwards compatibility).  This surreal story takes players back through a man’s life where they will reevaluate some of the important decisions he had to make.

Where the Heart Leads follows the story of husband and father Whit Anderson, a man who descends into a massive sinkhole to save the family dog but instead finds a mysterious realm where reality isn’t the reality he knows.  Within this strange dimension, Whit begins to relive memories and finds he can make different choices which could change his life forever.

Set in Whit’s small home town of Carthage, players will follow his story from childhood to old age and have the opportunity to react to the twists and turns of his life.  Make choices and face consequences that will ripple through Whit’s life.  There’s dozens of endings and hundreds of outcomes to experience.

The town of Carthage is filled with memorable, yet complex, residents and this dynamic community will react to the decisions of the player.  Whether Whit builds strong relationships with these residents or completely burn his bridges with them is entirely up to players.

Where the Heart Leads is available to pre-order now on the PlayStation Store and will release on PS4 and PS5 on 13th July.  Those who pre-order will also receive the extended soundtrack.

A special retail Physical Edition, from Perp Games, will be available from 16th July.
