Gelly Break Deluxe coming to PC and consoles this August

July 10, 2021 by Andrew Newton

ByteRockers’ Games has announced that the Gellies are making a return to the gaming world in Gelly Break Deluxe and this time they’re coming to all consoles and PC.  The expanded remastering of the original couch co-op platformer is all set to arrive on 12th August.

Gelly Break Deluxe places gamers in control of two adorable gellies named Gel and Lee and gives them the challenging task of saving their colourful cartoon world from the Evil Blob and his minions.  Players will need to combine their abilities to take on mighty bosses and the Evil Blob himself.

There’s 16 levels set across six different worlds that players will need to wobble through, these range from being inside a volcano to soaring high above the clouds.  Not everything is linear in these levels and players can repeat playthroughs to discover new challenges.  There’s even the chance to collect Gellies found in levels and unlock more stages and challenges.

As well as a local co-op mode, where communication and co-operation are the key to success, there’s also a single-player campaign mode allowing players to enjoy all the fun of the game on their own.

Gelly Break Deluxe features:

  • Cute cartoon aesthetic.
  • Two player couch co-op as well as single player campaign.
  • 16 unique levels over six worlds.
  • Six epic boss fights.
  • High replay value thanks to alternative paths.
  • Piggyback, merge, and swap abilities to complete different challenges.

Gelly Break Deluxe will launch on PC and consoles on 12th August and all owners of the original game on Nintendo Switch will receive Gelly Break Deluxe free of charge.
