First look at The Matrix Resurrections features the return of Neo, Trinity… and Morpheus?

With the full trailer set to drop this Thursday, Warner Bros. Pictures has shared a teaser poster and first look at The Matrix Resurrections, the hotly-anticipated fourth instalment in the sci-fi action franchise, which offers a glimpse at the returning Keanu Reeves (Neo) and Carrie-Anne Moss (Trinity) along with new addition Yahya Abdul-Mateen II (Candyman), who is rumoured to be portraying a younger version of Laurence Fishburne’s Morpheus; check them out here…

The Matrix Resurrections is directed by Lana Wachowski from a script by Aleksandar Hemon and David Mitchell. The cast features returning Matrix cast members Keanu Reeves (Neo), Carrie-Anne Moss (Trinity), Jada Pinkett Smith (Niobe) and Daniel Bernhardt (Agent Johnson) alongside Yahya Abdul-Mateen II (Watchmen), Jessica Henwick (Iron Fist), Neil Patrick Harris (A Series of Unfortunate Events), Jonathan Groff (Frozen II), Priyanka Chopra (Baywatch), Ellen Hollman (Spartacus), Andrew Caldwell (iZombie), and Christina Ricci (Sleepy Hollow), as well as Sense8 stars Erendira Ibarra, Toby Onwumere, Max Riemelt and Brian J. Smith.

The Matrix Resurrections is set for release on December 16th 2021.
