Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodhunt to bring blood-sucking battle royales to PS5

September 10, 2021 by Andrew Newton

Developer Sharkmob has announced that Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodhunt will release on Playstation 5 later this year.  This free-to-play vampire take on Battle Royale will grant players with supernatural abilities and provide a unique vertical gameplay experience.

This third person free-to-play Battle Royale title will take players to the city of Prague where they will experience epic clashes with other vampires.  Up to 45 players will be able to use their supernatural abilities to fight enemy AI and other players in the back-alleys, streets and on the rooftops of the city.  Use powers, wits and weapons to maintain the Masquerade, defeat the enemy and be the last vampire standing.

Featuring:

  • Use a variety of supernatural powers to fight opponents through Prague and be the last vampire standing.
  • Choose your clan allegiance, customise your vampire and play as your own creation.
  • Set in Prague, players will have a reason to keep fighting with story progression using Acts updates throughout seasons.
  • Most importantly – no pay to win mechanics.

“We’re very proud to be announcing that our first game will be coming to PS5 this year! We’ve been developing the PS5 version alongside the PC version and it’s been great working with Sony on this.” said Fredrik Rundqvist, CEO of Sharkmob.

Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodhunt is currently available in Early Access on PC and will be available on Playstation 5 later this year.
