Street Fighter getting limited edition Blu-ray Steelbook release

Universal Home Entertainment and Mill Creek Entertainment have announced the limited edition Blu-ray Steelbook for the 1994 adaptation of the hit video game series Street Fighter which goes on sale on December 7th; check out the cover artwork and details below…

Based on the massively popular video game franchise, this adrenaline-pumping adventure stars martial arts superstar Jean-Claude Van Damme (Double Impact, Kickboxer) as Colonel Guile, who leads an international strike force against the mad General M. Bison (Raul Julia – The Addams Family, Presumed Innocent).

Bison, who has hatched an evil plan for world domination, takes dozens of relief workers hostage and gives the world only 72 hours to respond to his twisted demands. In that time, Guile must find the captives and confront Bison in an electrifying battle for the fate of the free world. Along the way Guile recruits intelligence officer Cammy, reporter and martial arts expert Chun-Li, two young con men Ken and Ryu, and a sumo wrestler E. Honda.

This action-packed film also stars Ming-Na Wen (The Mandalorian, Mulan, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D), and Damian Chapa (Under Siege, Blood In, Blood Out), Grammy award-winning artist Kylie Minogue (Moulin Rouge!, San Andreas), Byron Mann (The Big Short, Skyscraper), and Wes Studi (The Last of the Mohicans, Heat, Avatar).

Licensed from Universal Home Entertainment, the Blu-ray will feature a host of new bonus content including NEW INTERVIEWS with Writer/Director Steven E. De Souza, Producer Edward R. Pressman, Composer Graeme Revell, Actress Ming-Na Wen, and Actor Damian Chapa plus, multiple archival bonus features. And for the ultimate fan, Mill Creek has also included a collectible Bison Dollar inside!
