Warner Bros. Games has released a gameplay reveal trailer for their upcoming action RPG Hogwarts Legacy. Currently in development by Avalanche Studios and scheduled for release towards the end of the year, Hogwarts Legacy is set in the wizarding world of the 1800s where players will meet a new and exciting cast of characters but continue to tread the familiar corridors and classrooms of the beloved Hogwarts. Hogwarts Legacy is an open world, action RPG that takes players back through the history of Hogwarts to the 1800s where they’ll be able to become a new fifth year student at the centre of their own adventure. Players will customise their characters, explore familiar and unfamiliar locations within the grounds and take part in adventures, missions and ultimately discover the hidden truth of the wizarding world.
Being a student at the world’s most renowned school of magic will include classes that will teach a variety of abilities. Players will be able to attend classes in Herbology where they will learn how to grow and harvest magical plants, master the art of potion making, become a pro at dueling and expertly handle powerful spells, all of which can be used against the deadly enemies that players will surely meet on their adventures.
There’s the chance to make new friends, meet new faces, interact with professors, confront dangerous foes and maybe meet one or two characters that are still around when Harry got there.
Hogwarts Legacy is scheduled for release towards the end of the year on Xbox and Playstation consoles, Nintendo Switch and PC.
