Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness gets two new posters as running time revealed

With tickets for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness set to go on sale this Wednesday, Marvel Studios has debuted two new posters for its upcoming superhero sequel featuring Benedict Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange along with Elizabeth Olsen’s Scarlet Witch.

Meanwhile, according to Fandango’s listing for the film, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness clocks in with a running time of 126 minutes, which would make it the shortest Phase Four movie so far behind Eternals (156 minutes), Spider-Man: No Way Home (148 minutes), Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings (132 minutes) and Black Widow (134 minutes), and the shortest MCU entry since Captain Marvel (124 minutes).

Will two hours and six minutes be enough to cram in all of the multiversal insanity that the promotional material has teased? We shall find out in just over four weeks…

In Marvel Studios’ Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, the MCU unlocks the Multiverse and pushes its boundaries further than ever before. Journey into the unknown with Doctor Strange, who, with the help of mystical allies both old and new, traverses the mind-bending and dangerous alternate realities of the Multiverse to confront a mysterious new adversary.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is directed by Sam Raimi and stars Benedict Cumberbatch (Doctor Strange), Benedict Wong (Wong), Rachel McAdams (Christine Palmer), Chiwetel Ejiofor (Mordo), Michael Stuhlbarg (Nicodemus West) and Elizabeth Olsen (Scarlet Witch) as well as MCU newcomer Xochitl Gomez (The Baby-Sitters Club) as America Chavez.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is set for release on May 6th 2022.
