Black Panther: Wakanda Forever promo art offers first look at Shuri and Okoye in the MCU sequel

June 13, 2022 by Amie Cranswick

We’re exactly five months out from the release of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, but with new MCU projects seemingly arriving by the week, we’re yet to see or hear anything in the way of official promotional material for the Ryan Coogler-directed sequel.

In fairness to Marvel’s marketing department, that have had their hands full this year with the likes of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Thor: Love and Thunder, Moon Knight, Ms. Marvel and She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, but while we’re probably going to have to wait until closer to the Thor sequel’s July release for a trailer, some Wakanda Forever promotional artwork has popped up in the wild which offers a peek at Letitia Wright’s Shuri sporting a new look for the sequel, along with Danai Gurira’s Okoye who, as ever, looks very much as one would expect from General of the Dora Milaje.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever reunites director Ryan Coogler with Black Panther stars Danai Gurira, Letitia Wright, Daniel Kaluuya, Winston Duke, Lupita Nyong’o, Florence Kasumba, Angela Bassett and Martin Freeman, with Dominique Thorne making her MCU debut as Riri Williams/Ironheart, and Michaela Coel and Lake Bell starring in an as-yet-unrevealed roles.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is scheduled for release on November 11th 2022.
