Shark sequel The Reef: Stalked gets a poster and trailer

June 30, 2022 by Gary Collinson

While the vast majority of shark movies are much closer to Jaws: The Revenge than Jaws, there have been a few over the past couple of decades that have managed to stand out among the crowd – one of which was the 2010 Australian film The Reef.

In 2020, it was announced that director Andrew Traucki would be returning for a standalone sequel to the critically-acclaimed survival horror, and now we have a trailer, poster and images for The Reed: Stalked ahead of its release next month. Check them out here…

The Reef: Stalked stars Nic (Teressa Liane, The Vampire Diaries) and Annie (Saskia Archer, Boshack) as two sisters who set off on a dream vacation with their friends in an effort to escape the trauma of their sister’s murder. However, their Pacific island adventure turns bad when they hit the surf and within hours they find themselves far from land, stalked by a great white shark.

The Reef: Stalked will release on July 29th.
