Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur gets a first-look clip, poster and star-studded voice cast

In the first of what’s surely to be numerous Marvel announcements and reveals this San Diego Comic-Con International weekend, Disney has just unveiled a poster and first-look clip for the upcoming animated series Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur, as well as announcing a host of guest and recurring voice talent.

Executive produced by Ant-Man and the Wasp star Laurence Fishburne, Helen Sugland (black-ish) and Steve Loter (Kim Possible), Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur sees Diamond White lending her voice to Lunella Lafayette, a 13-year-old super-genius who accidently brings the 10-ton Devil Dinosaur into present-day New York City. 

Announced today at Comic-Con, the guest and recurring cast for the series will include Alison Brie (GLOW), Andy Cohen (Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen), Daveed Diggs (Hamilton), Maya Hawke (Stranger Things), Jennifer Hudson (Respect), Cliff “Method Man” Smith (Power Book II: Ghost), Cobie Smulders (The Avengers), Wesley Snipes (Blade), Omid Abtahi (The Mandalorian), Utkarsh Ambudkar (Ghosts), Michael Cimino (Love, Victor), Indya Moore (Pose) and Craig Robinson (The Office).

Additional guest cast for the series includes Gideon Adlon (Pacific Rim: The Black), Pamela Adlon (Better Things), Anna Akana (Youth & Consequences), Ian Alexander (The OA), May Calamawy (Moon Knight), Wilson Cruz (Star Trek: Discovery), Asia Kate Dillon (Billions), Luis Guzmán (How to Make It in America), Josh Keaton (Marvel’s Spider-Man), June Diane Raphael (Grace and Frankie), Paul Scheer (The League), Tajinae Turner (Meet the Voxels) and astronaut Dr. Mae Jemison.

Based on Marvel’s hit comic books, the highly-anticipated series follows the adventures of 13-year-old super-genius Lunella Lafayette and her 10-ton T-Rex, Devil Dinosaur. After Lunella accidentally brings Devil Dinosaur into present-day New York City via a time vortex, the duo works together to protect the city’s Lower East Side from danger. 

Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur features the voice talents of Diamond White as Lunella Lafayette (aka Moon Girl); Fred Tatasciore as Devil Dinosaur; Alfre Woodard as Lunella’s grandmother, Mimi; Libe Barer as Lunella’s best friend and manager, Casey; Sasheer Zamata as Lunella’s mom, Adria; Jermaine Fowler as Lunella’s dad, James Jr.; Gary Anthony Williams as Lunella’s grandfather, Pops and Laurence Fishburne as The Beyonder, a curious and mischievous trickster.
