Meet the vampire Lestat in trailer for AMC’s Interview with the Vampire

July 23, 2022 by Amie Cranswick

During today’s San Diego Comic-Con presentation, AMC shared the first trailer for its upcoming small screen adaptation of Anne Rice’s legendary novel Interview with the Vampire starring Jacob Anderson as Louis de Pointe and Sam Reid as the vampire Lestat de Lioncourt.

Based on Anne Rice’s iconic novel, the series follows Louis de Pointe’s epic story of love, blood, and the perils of immortality, as told to the journalist Daniel Molloy. Chafing at the limitations of life as a black man in 1900’s New Orleans, Louis finds it impossible to resist the rakish Lestat De Lioncourt’s offer of the ultimate escape: joining him as his vampire companion.
