Trailer for AMC’s animated sci-fi drama Pantheon

August 20, 2022 by Amie Cranswick

AMC has released a trailer for Pantheon, the upcoming animated sci-fi drama series which centres on Maddie, a teenager who begins to receive online messages from her recently deceased father. While trying to uncover the truth, she uncovers a global conspiracy which threatens to trigger a new world war; check out the trailer below…

Pantheon explores the outer limits of what we and our technology are capable of creating and destroying, focusing on the “uploading” of human consciousness into the cloud. It explores the theme of technology through the lens of family, focusing on both the people whose brains have been digitally uploaded, and the loved ones they’ve left behind. Ultimately, Pantheon challenges our understanding of what it means to be human.

Pantheon features the voice talents of Katie Chang, Daniel Dae Kim, Paul Dano, Aaron Eckhart, Rosemarie DeWitt, Chris Diamantopoulos, Raza Jeffrey, Ron Livingston, Taylor Schilling, Scoot McNairy, Maude Apatow, William Hurt, Corey Stoll, Anika Noni Rose, and Michael Kelly.

Pantheon premieres on AMC+ on September 1st.
