Asterix & Obelix XXXL: The Ram From Hibernia Collector’s Editions revealed

Microids have revealed details on the limited and collector editions of Asterix & Obelix XXXL: The Ram from Hibernia, which is due for release on Xbox Series X/S, Playstation 4/5, Nintendo Switch and PC on 13th October.  There will be two editions chock full of bits and bobs for fans of the duo from Gaul.  

The two special editions will feature a range of Asterix and Obelix related items for those who love these two characters.  The special editions are as follows:

Asterix & Obelix XXXL: The Ram from Hibernia Limited Edition

  • A copy of the game.
  • Two sticker sheets featuring the pair.
  • Three lithographs showing beautiful artwork.

Asterix & Obelix XXXL: The Ram from Hibernia Collector’s Edition

  • A copy of the game.
  • Two sticker sheets.
  • Three lithographs.
  • An 18cm tall Obelix figurine.
  • An attractive collector’s box to put all the items in.

Asterix & Obelix XXXL: The Ram from Hibernia will have players following Asterix and Obelix on an adventure through Hibernia (Ireland).  The Romans are up to their old tricks and have invaded Hibernia and in the process have stolen a treasured golden ram.  Keratine, chief Whiskitonix’s daughter, has called for Asterix and Obelix to help defeat the Romans and retrieve the precious item.  

This top down adventure will be playable solo or co-op for up to 4 players on the same screen. The pair’s journey will span across six chapters and contain collectibles to find and Romans to send flying.  Find different items to use during the fights and create combo styles to ensure bigger rewards.  

Asterix & Obelix XXXL: The Ram from Hibernia will arrive this October on PC and consoles.
