House of the Dragon episode 3 trailer muddies the line of succession

A trailer has been released for next week’s third episode of the Game of Thrones prequel series , House of the Dragon which gives us a sneak peek at King Viserys (Paddy Considine) and Alicent’s married life (Emily Carey), Rhaenyra (Milly Alcock) continued efforts to fight against the traditions and duties expected of her, and Daemon (Matt Smith) and Corlys’ (Steve Toussaint) alliance to take on the pirates led by the ominous ‘Crabfeeder’. Based on George R.R. Martin’s “Fire & Blood,” the series, which is set 200 years before the events of “Game of Thrones,” tells the story of House Targaryen.

House of the Dragon features a cast that includes Paddy Considine (The Outsider), Matt Smith (Doctor Who), Olivia Cooke (Ready Player One), Emma D’Arcy (Truth Seekers), Rhys Ifans (The Amazing Spider-Man), Steve Toussaint (Small Axe), Sonoya Minuzo (Crazy Rich Asians), Eve Best (Nurse Jackie), and Graham McTavish (Outlander).

House of the Dragon airs on on Sundays on HBO in the US and on Mondays on Sky Atlantic and NOW in the UK.
