The Sea of Zombie update launches for LifeAfter

August 12, 2022 by Andrew Newton

It’s expansion update time for NeatEase Games’ open world doomsday survival game LifeAfter and this latest update takes players to The Sea of Zombie.

In this latest expansion players get to explore uncharted waters, fight powerful new enemies, gather resources and put their construction skills to the test.  Two new trailers can be seen below showing the advantages of the ship and introducing the new marine infected, plus there’s a special LifeAfter in real life video that recreates parts of The Sea of Zombie with live action scenes.

In this era of sea survival players will set out in their own vessel to explore across the seas after learning from Scientia that there is a “Pureland”, a land free of infection where they may find a way of helping humanity get rid of the infection once and for all.  Players will venture across the five mysterious mutated seas,  Crystalthorn Sea, Labyrinth Sea, Rainbow Sea, Eroded Reef Sea and Whirlpool Sea, salvaging sea resources, developing their vessel and fighting whatever infected nasty comes their way.

The player’s ship is invaluable for survivors and serves a variety of purposes.  Players can use the Salvage Racks to collect marine resources and unexpected treasures that may float their way and they can use it to fish from and earn a valuable food source.  There’s a Construction Area that allows players to build and place furniture to create their own unique getaway from the real world.  Finally, players can also steer the ship from the cockpit and follow beacons to help navigation.

Don’t expect safety on the high seas, the waves hide numerous marine infected such as Infected Sharks, Infected Tentacles that can wrap the whole ship and mysterious special Infected that wield big sickles and wears clerical clothing.

Last, but by no means least, there’s also plenty of freebies available, including limited outfits, sprays, frames and more.

Venture out on to the Mutated Seas with LifeAfter: The Sea of Zombie now.
