Unreleased NEOGEO Pocket Colour title Mega Man Battle & Fighters comes to Nintendo Switch

August 4, 2022 by Andrew Newton

SNK Corporataion and Capcom have announced that the previously unreleased NEOGEO Pocket Colour game, Mega Man Battle & Fighters, is now available to download on the Nintendo Switch.  Mega Man Battle & Fighters features two titles intended for the NEOGEO Pocket Colour – Mega Man: The Power Battle and Mega Man 2: The Power Fighters.

One thing to note however is that this is the Japanese version of the game, all the action is still accessible but unless you are able to read Japanese don’t expect to be able to read any writing.

Mega Man Battle & Fighters lets players jump into the world of Mega Man and play as a number of different characters like Proto Man, Bass and Duo.  Each character has their own distinct playstyle providing players with a good variety of ways to fight through the multitudes of boss characters from the first seven Mega Man games.  There’s 40 different bosses for players to defeat in order to put an end to the world dominating plans of Dr. Wily.

Players can defeat the various enemies that confront them to have a chance of collecting character data, there’s 36 types to collect and fill out the personal database with.

Gamers are able to download Mega Man Battle & Fighters now from the Nintendo eShop, priced £7.19/ $7.99/ €7.99.
