Disney+ and 20th Century Studios has released trailer for Rosaline, a comedic retelling of William Shakespeare’s classic Romeo & Juliet.

Directed by Karen Maine, the romantic comedy follows Rosaline (Kaitlyn Dever), the cousin of Juliet (Isabela Merced) and ex-girlfriend of Romeo (Kyle Allen), who finds herself heartbroken when the star-crossed lovers fall for each other and schemes to win back him back.

Take a look at the poster and trailer below…

“Rosaline” is a fresh and comedic twist on Shakespeare’s classic love story “Romeo & Juliet,” told from the perspective of Juliet’s cousin Rosaline (Kaitlyn Dever), who also happens to be Romeo’s recent love interest. Heartbroken when Romeo (Kyle Allen) meets Juliet (Isabela Merced) and begins to pursue her, Rosaline schemes to foil the famous romance and win back her guy.
