The Rebellion is set in motion in Star Wars: Andor D23 trailer

September 10, 2022 by Amie Cranswick

Lucasfilm kicked off Saturday’s big D23 Expo presentation with the release of a brand new trailer for the Rogue One: A Star Wars Story prequel series, Star Wars: Andor, ahead of its premiere on Disney+ later this month; watch the trailer below…

The “Andor” series will explore a new perspective from the Star Wars galaxy, focusing on Cassian Andor’s journey to discover the difference he can make. The series brings forward the tale of the burgeoning rebellion against the Empire and how people and planets became involved. It’s an era filled with danger, deception and intrigue where Cassian will embark on the path that is destined to turn him into a rebel hero.

Star Wars: Andor stars Diego Luna, who is reprising his Rogue One role as Cassian Andor, Genevieve O’Reilly as Mon Mothma, Forest Whitaker as Saw Gerrara, and Adria Arjona (6 Underground), Denise Gough (The Kid Who Would Be King), Kyle Soller (101 Dalmatian Street), Stellan Skarsgård (Chernobyl), Ben Miles (The Crown), Anton Lesser (Game of Thrones), and Robert Emms (His Dark Materials).
