Netflix has released a new trailer for the eagerly-anticipated Addams Family spinoff series, Wednesday, which reveals that Fred Armisen has been cast in the role as Uncle Fester, as well as giving us our first look at a former Wednesday as Christina Ricci makes her Addams Family return, this time in the role of Nevermore Academy teacher Miss Thornhill; watch it below…
The series is a sleuthing, supernaturally infused mystery charting Wednesday Addams’ years as a student at Nevermore Academy. Wednesday’s attempts to master her emerging psychic ability, thwart a monstrous killing spree that has terrorized the local town, and solve the supernatural mystery that embroiled her parents 25 years ago — all while navigating her new and very tangled relationships at Nevermore.
Wednesday stars Jenna Ortega as Wednesday, Catherine Zeta-Jones as Morticia, Luis Guzmán as Gomez, and Isaac Ordonez as Pugsley, alongside a cast that also includes Gwendoline Christie, Hunter Doohan, Percy Hynes White, Joy Sunday, Emma Myers, Riki Lindhome, Jamie McShane, Georgie Farmer, Naomi Ogawa, and Moosa Mostafa.
Wednesday will premiere on Netflix on November 23rd.
