Video Review – Bones And All is arthouse Twilight

November 16, 2022 by EJ Moreno

EJ Moreno reviews Luca Guadagnino’s Bones And All…

Luca Guadagnino is back with another artful and challenging film. Bones And All blends horror, romance, and some dark comedy to create one of the sickest love stories.

Keeping the whole thing together is the beautiful talents that are Taylor Russell and Timothee Chalamet. The young actors eat up the material but almost get outshined by Mark Rylance in a stellar supporting role. Join EJ Moreno for his breakdown of Bones And All.

Love blossoms between a young woman on the margins of society and a disenfranchised drifter as they embark on a 3,000-mile odyssey through the backroads of America. However, despite their best efforts, all roads lead back to their terrifying pasts and a final stand that will determine whether their love can survive their differences.

Joining Taylor Russell and Timothee Chalamet in the cast are Mark Rylance, Michael Stuhlbarg, André Holland, Chloë Sevigny, David Gordon-Green, Jessica Harper, and Jake Horowitz.

Bones and All arrives in cinemas on November 23rd.
