Hannah Waddingham joins Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part 2

March 10, 2023 by Ricky Church

Christopher McQuarrie’s Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part Two has gotten slightly bigger as the director has announced on social media that Hannah Waddingham (Ted Lasso) has joined the cast of the Tom Cruise-led spy film.

Details on Waddingham’s character were not revealed as both films, which have been shooting back-to-back for several years now, have kept their stories closely guarded even as Cruise performs death defying stunt after death defying stunt during their production. McQuarrie and Cruise have hinted, however, the two-part film will serve as a “send-off” for Cruise’s Ethan Hunt.

Dead Reckoning Part One will hit theatres this summer on July 24th with Cruise and several Mission: Impossible veterans returning alongside a host of new faces. Dead Reckoning Part Two is scheduled for next summer on June 28th, 2024 and will continue the story of Ethan Hunt’s epic mission.
