8 Sword & Sorcery Fantasy Cartoons You Must Watch | Marvelous Videos

July 21, 2020 by Red Stewart

Marvelous Videos on the must-watch sword & sorcery fantasy cartoons…

The fantasy genre is the biggest subcategory of speculative fiction for a reason: it is literally endless in terms of possibilities. The human imagination is an amazing thing, with artists and writers everywhere able to come up with some of the most unique premises ever to grace storytelling.

Those lucky enough to turn their ideas into cartoons have blessed us with their creativity. In particular, the sword and sorcery aspect of fantasy has been home to some of the most bizarre yet thoroughly entertaining things to appear on television.

As such, our friends at Marvelous Videos have found eight you may want to consider watching in Thundarr the Barbarian, Fire and Ice, The Pirates of Dark Water, Berserk, Conan the Adventurer, Blackstar, He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, and of course the classic Dungeons & Dragons.
