Gameplay trailer for State of Decay 2 gives tips for survival

May 1, 2018 by Andrew Newton

With State of Decay 2‘s release date shuffling ever closer, a new trailer has been released showcasing the gameplay.  In the trailer a lone woman becomes part of a community and learns from the others how the community has managed to survive.  Check out the trailer below…

State of Decay 2 is set 18 months after the start of the zombie apocalypse and the events of the original game, the country is a shadow of itself and the remaining population are all wondering how they have survived.  Players take the role of one of those left behind and must seek out other survivors to build a community capable of surviving the post apocalyptic nightmare the world has become.

The appearance of the game hasn’t changed from the original nor has the driving and fighting mechanics, which is certainly a good thing, but what has changed is the ability to build and setting the right person to the right task.

18 months after the zombie apocalypse, a lone woman joins a community learns what it takes to survive. In a world of choice and consequence, how will you survive?

State of Decay 2 will be a 4K UHD, HDR, Xbox One X Enhanced, Xbox Play Anywhere title and will be available on 22nd May.
