SDCC: Quentin Tarantino says Kill Bill Vol. 3 is still a possibility

July 12, 2015 by Justin Cook

While speaking at the San Diego Comic-Con panel for his upcoming film The Hateful Eight, director Quentin Tarantino gave up some unexpected news about a third film in the Kill Bill series.

Tarantino said, “Never say never to Kill Bill 3. Uma [Thurman] would really like to do it. We talk about it every once in a while. Vernita’s daughter just needs to get a little older.”

The main story floated around for Kill Bill Vol. 3 features the daughter of Vernita Green (Vivica A. Fox), who witnessed her mother get killed at a young age by Thurman’s Beatrix Kiddo, setting out for revenge.

The two previous Kill Bill films did very well at the box office, together grossing over $330 million worldwide on a combined budget of $60 million. To this day, Kill Bill Vol. 2 is the only sequel Tarantino has ever made, so we’ll see if he decides to continue the saga.
