Joel Huenink’s latest 7 Days to Die video provides an Alpha 17 update

June 2, 2018 by Andrew Newton

The latest video from Joel Huenink of the Fun Pimps on 7 Days to Die came out a few days ago (somehow I completely missed it) and provides a glimpse at how the Alpha 17 is coming along.  In short, it is looking absolutely amazing.  Not only do we get to see how much more beautiful the game is starting to look but Joel also gives a little bit of news that should get the hype train started up again.

In the new video Joel announces that new staff have been employed to help work on the game, this is certainly great news for those gamers on the forums who never think things move along fast enough.  However, the work that the new staff have been doing is just as good as it always has been as can be seen with the new forest trees.

Alongside the new forest biome trees players can look forward to new AI, trees that render in the distance and the ability to control how fast the in-game animation goes.

Finally, the big news that is sure to get the aforementioned hype train moving is the announcement that Alpha 17 COULD enter into experimental this July.  This means we could possibly get to see the game in action by our favourite Youtubers/ Twitch streamers (Kage848 & Crackpot Texas).

Leave a comment below if you are building up the excitement for Alpha 17.
