Happy Birthdays out now on Nintendo Switch

June 6, 2018 by Andrew Newton

NIS America’s creative sandbox adventure, Happy Birthdays, is now available for North American gamers to download from the Nintendo eShop for the Nintendo Switch.  The game will be available for European gamers this Friday.  Created by the legendary Yasuhiro Wada, Happy Birthdays will see players design their own cube shaped world and nurture all manner of strange and wonderful life to grow.  The game’s launch trailer can be seen below…

In Happy Birthdays players are given the opportunity to create their own cube shaped worlds and create the ideal conditions for life to begin.  Everything within their little worlds can be changed, from shaping the land masses, altering its height and deciding how land is spread out to choosing whether to have a hot or cold planet.  Players will be able to watch entire ecosystems develop before their eyes from single celled creatures all the way through to giant dinosaurs and more.

Happy Birthdays features:

  • A rich variety of worlds to create with mountains, sprawling forests and deep seas dotted with islands. The only limit is your imagination.
  • Experience the history of all life on your planet from single-celled organisms to complex multicellular life.
  • Shape your planet and decide how plant and animal life evolves. Every planet will be unique.

Have you ever wanted to create your very own planet and populate it with your very own critters? In Happy Birthdays, shape your land to create different ecosystems, weather patterns, and life forms! With hundreds of critters that will be born as time goes by, what will your planet look like one million years from now?

With Happy Birthdays no two worlds will ever be alike and it’s available now on the Nintendo eShop in North America.
