Rumours of Rambo fighting ISIS in Rambo: Last Blood debunked

July 13, 2015 by Gary Collinson

A report emerged earlier today claiming that the upcoming Rambo: Last Blood would see Sylvester Stallone taking his Vietnam veteran to Syria to tackle ISIS for the fifth and final instalment in the Rambo series, with the action icon allegedly breaking the news at Comic-Con over the weekend.

However, it turns out that the original quotes attributed to Stallone were fasle, as his agent has officially debunked the rumour, telling Manly Movie that: “Sylvester Stallone did not attend Comic-Con 2015, and consequently there was no official remark from him regarding Rambo made there at the event. This is not an accurate report.”

Previous reports on Last Blood have suggested that Last Blood will see Rambo facing off against a Mexican cartel in what Stallone has described as “his No Country for Old Men.”
