Latest Titans set photos offer a glimpse of the Bat-Signal and Jason Todd

June 9, 2018 by Amie Cranswick

As production continues on DC Universe’s upcoming Titans series, some new set photos have arrived online from the live-action Teen Titans series – the first of which appears to confirm that we’ll be paying a visit to Gotham City. Note the Bat-Signal in the background…

Next up we have a glimpse of Jason Todd, a.k.a. Dick Grayson’s successor as the Boy Wonder (and future Red Hood), who is portrayed by Curran Walters (Girl Meets World)…

At this point, we’re yet to get confirmation as to whether Batman will feature in the series, but given the amount of connections the show has to The Dark Knight, it would certainly seem logical for him to make an appearance at some point.

From executive producers Akiva Goldsman, Geoff Johns, Greg Berlanti and Sarah Schechter, TITANS is an all-new live-action drama series that follows a group of young soon-to-be Super Heroes recruited from every corner of the DC Universe. In this action-packed series, Dick Grayson emerges from the shadows to become the leader of a fearless band of new heroes, including Starfire, Raven and many others. TITANS is a dramatic, live-action adventure series that will explore and celebrate one of the most popular comic book teams ever.

Titans sees Brenton Thwaites (Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales) leading the cast as Dick Grayson, alongside Teagan Croft (The Osiris Child) as Raven, Anna Diop (24: Legacy) as Starfire, Ryan Potter (Big Hero 6) as Beast Boy, Alan Ritchson (Smallville) as Hawk, Minka Kelly (Friday Night Lights) as Dove and Lindsey Gort (Lucifer) as Detective Amy Rohrbach. It is set to air on the new DC streaming service later in the year.
