Fist of the North Star: Lost Paradise coming to PS4 gamers in the west this October

June 11, 2018 by Andrew Newton

Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio, the developer behind the acclaimed Yakuza series, has announced they will be releasing Fist of the North Star: Lost Paradise on the Playstation 4 in North America and Europe this October.  This intense action RPG will take gamers to a post apocalyptic world to destroy gangs of thugs.  A new trailer to accompany this announcement can be found below…

Fist of the North Star: Lost Paradise is set in an alternate universe to that of the hit manga Fist of the North Star and sees players cast in the role of Kenshiro as he travels through the apocalyptic wasteland in a customisable buggy.  Gangs of thugs will get in Kenshiro’s way but using his signature Hokuto Shinken techniques the thugs should prove no match.

Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio’s upcoming must have for fans will feature:

  • Explore an alternate version of the Fist of the North Star canon; take control of Kenshiro as he searches for his lost love Yuria.  This is not only ideal for fans but can also be enjoyed by anyone unfamiliar with the original story.
  • “You’re Already Dead” or “Omae wa Mou Shindeiru?” Fist of the North Star: Lost Paradise features an English / Japanese dual rack audio.  Perfect for those who like the dubbed or original.
  • Master Kenshiro’s ultimate assassination technique, the Hokuto Shinken Style.  After building up the Seven Star gauge, you can demolish enemies using iconic Hokuto Shinken techniques, faithfully recreated from the original manga. With more techniques unlocking as you progress through the story.
  • Plenty of side missions and minigames to take part in throughout the dilapidated city of Eden.  Including preparing drinks at a bar, managing a struggling nightclub, customise a buggy and race, play retro games at the arcade and even collect materials in the wasteland in side missions.
  • Fist of the North Star: Lost Paradise features everything available in the original Japanese version, plus enhanced violence for the localized version!

Fist of the North Star: Lost Paradise will be available for PS4 owners this October in North America and Europe.  However, if you are visiting E3 this year you can get your hands on the demo if you visit the ATLUS / SEGA booth (West Hall #5222).
