Paul Rudd reveals who he believes is a better hero between Ant-Man and the Wasp

June 19, 2018 by Samuel Brace

Paul Rudd has given his opinion on whether Wasp or Ant-Man is a better hero.

Superhero partnerships are always an interesting dynamic, with their differing abilities, personalities, and egos providing certain challenges and obstacles to overcome in order to save the day.

We will get to see how Paul Rudd’s Ant-Man and Evangeline Lilly’s Wasp fair in the upcoming Ant-Man and the Wasp but who is actually the better superhero?

Well, according to Paul Rudd, it’s probably not Ant-Man. Speaking to ComicBook.com, the actor said: “I feel like she’s born into it and made for it more than I am,” Rudd explained. “She has the focus and the drive and I think the desire to do it maybe more than me, at least at first.”

Putting to one side who’s the better hero, are the two actually a good team? Speaking about how the two will work together given their history, Rudd said: “I don’t know whether or not we’re on the same page at the beginning. Maybe we’re a little rusty or you know, we’re good if we get past our baggage and everything else. Maybe we’re a good team.”

Would you concur with Rudd’s analysis of Wasp and her having the edge over Ant-Man?

From the Marvel Cinematic Universe comes Ant-Man and The Wasp, a new chapter featuring heroes with the astonishing ability to shrink. In the aftermath of Captain America: Civil War, Scott Lang grapples with the consequences of his choices as both a super hero and a father. As he struggles to rebalance his life with his responsibilities as Ant-Man, he’s confronted by Hope van Dyne and Dr. Hank Pym with an urgent new mission. Scott must once again put on the suit and learn to fight alongside the Wasp as the team works together to uncover secrets from the past.

Ant-Man and The Wasp sees Peyton Reed returning to the director’s chair and stars Paul Rudd (Scott Lang), Evangeline Lilly (Hope Van Dyne), Michael Douglas (Hank Pym), Michael Pena (Luis), David Dastmalchian (Kurt), Abby Ryder Fortson (Cassie Lang), Judy Greer (Maggie), Bobby Cannavale (Paxton) and T.I. (Dave), while new additions to the cast include Michelle Pfeiffer as Janet Van Dyne, Laurence Fishburne as Dr. Bill Foster/Goliath, Hannah John-Kamen as The Ghost, Walton Goggins as Sonny Burch and Randall Park as Jimmy Woo.
