Fishing Sim World will be coming to PC and consoles this September

July 6, 2018 by Andrew Newton

Dovetail Games has announced they will be bringing Fishing Sim World, an authentic fishing experience, to gamers on Xbox One, Playstation 4 and PC on the 18th September.  This upcoming fishing game will give players the chance to catch largemouth bass, huge carp and monster pike.  We have the new announcement trailer below…

Fishing Sim World will feature some of the biggest brand names in the industry from North America and Europe with rods, reels and lures from the likes of Bass Cat Boats, Bill Lewis Outdoors (Rat-L-Trap), Duckett and Korda.  These brand fishing equipment can be used to catch any and all of the 18 species of fish

Allowing players to cast their line solo or with up to 4 friends in multiplayer, Fishing Sim World will include seven uniquely challenging and beautiful locations across the U.S. and Europe such as the glacial Lake Boulder of Upstate New York, Florida’s Lake Johnson, Gigantica Main Lake in France and a challenging stretch of the UK’s Grand Union Canal.  Players can set out to fish on these stunning locations aboard a boat and use sonar to find the perfect spot.

“Our passion for simulation and realism ensures that Fishing Sim World will be the most authentic fishing game on the market,” said Mark Greenway, Fishing Sim World Director at Dovetail Games. “We cannot wait for fishing fans to take on the challenges of bass and predator fishing, as well as catching huge carp!”

Fishing Sim World will be released on 18th September on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC via Steam.
