World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth Pre-Patch arrives next week

July 15, 2018 by Andrew Newton

Fans of World of Warcraft have a few days to prepare themselves after Blizzard announced that the Battle for Azeroth Pre-Patch will arrive on the 18th July.  After the tensions were raised between the Alliance and the Horde thanks to Sargeras’ assault on Azeroth, the World of Warcraft universe is preparing for war and the best way for fans to prepare is by watching the new Pre-Patch Survival Guide video below.

The Battle for Azeroth Pre-Patch will include a number of features and system changes including:

  • Battle for Azeroth Class updates will bring changes to many of the classes and specs in the game but will give players chance to practice their updated spells and abilities.
  • War Mode and PvP Updates – The long awaited War Mode can be toggled on or off when in Orgrimmar or Stormwind and when enabled will allow fighting PvP battles with other blood thirsty adventurers.  There will also be changes to PvP talents and the Honor system.
  • Players will be able to create and join the new cross realm Communities which will make it easier for those to find others from the same faction.

Also coming up are a series of quests that will lead players into the events of the expansion.

Battle for Azeroth Pre-Patch will go live on the 18th July.
