Latest trailer for Disgaea 1 Complete introduces the Denizens of the Netherworld

August 2, 2018 by Andrew Newton

NIS America have released a new trailer for the upcoming Disgaea 1 Complete set for release on the Nintendo Switch and Playstation 4 this October.  This latest trailer introduces us to the Denizens of the Netherworld.  Watch this trailer below…

This latest trailer introduces us to the characters that call the Netherworld home and shows us some of their special abilities that they can use in combat.  Viewers are introduced to Laharl, Prince of the Netherworld, who can use the powerful Meteor Impact move in combat, his (possibly not so) loyal vassal Etna and her ‘Sexy Beam’, the numerous penguin-like explosive peons called Prinny and the mid boss Vyers, also known as ‘The Dark Adonis’.

Disgaea 1 Complete will take players on a journey with Prince Laharl as he sets out to reclaim his throne after finding out that his father, the Overlord, is dead. With the Netherworld in complete turmoil it is up to the prince and his unlikely allies (including devious vassal Etna and the angel trainee Flonne) to slash, shoot and punch his way to victory, using an assortment of special skills while building up his team to level 9999.

“I shall show no mercy… for I am Laharl, the rightful heir to the throne!”

The OVERLORD of strategy RPGs returns! Join Laharl, Etna, and Flonne in their crazy adventure through the Netherworld to crown a new Overlord. Remastered for a new generation, with brand new visuals! Meet the angels of Celestia, who have sent Flonne down to the Netherworld to assassinate King Krichevskoy. But, upon realizing that the King was already dead, she decides to join Laharl and gang…

Disgaea 1 Complete will arrive on the Nintendo Switch and Playstation 4 in North America on the 9th October and in Europe on the 12th October.
