Two more fighters revealed for Dead or Alive 6

August 3, 2018 by Andrew Newton

KOEI TECMO America have announced the addition of two more characters to the roster of fighters for Dead or Alive 6; returning antagonist Rig and new fighter Diego.  Both the new combatants will be showcased at the Evolution Championship Series (Evo) 2018  in the first consumer playable build of Dead or Alive 6.  You can meet these characters in the new trailer below…

Diego, aka “The Uncrowned Street Hero”, boasts the brutal skills of street fighting. Honing his skills in the back streets and alleys of New York earning money in underground street fighting competitions, Diego will use anything from headbutts to tackles to ensure he takes down his opponent.

Along with Diego is the returning taekwondo master and former oil platform worker Rig.  Using a kick heavy style and more acrobatic maneuvers, Rig is certainly a force to be reckoned with.

Both characters join the 6 previously announced playable characters Helena Douglas, Hayate, Ryu Hayabusa, Zack, Kasumi and Jann Lee.

Known as “The Uncrowned Street Hero,” Diego makes his DOA debut boasting the raw and brutal skills of a street fighter, utilizing everything from headbutts to tackles in taking down opponents. This gritty fighter grew up in the back alleys of New York, earning money to support his ailing mother by competing in many street matches. Long rumored to be the strongest fighter in his neighborhood, he is seen by many locals as a hero as he utilizes his experience brawling in confined quarters to impact fights with a set of strong-style moves.

Dead or Alive 6 is scheduled for release in early 2019 on Xbox One, PS4 and PC via Steam.
