Prometheus 2 to start shooting in January

According to a report in Total Film (via SciFied), cameras are set to roll on the follow-up to 2012’s Prometheus next year, with director Ridley Scott gearing up to start production on Prometheus 2 in January.

Plot details for the sequel are being kept tightly under wraps, although we do know that Noomi Rapace and Michael Fassbender will be reprising their roles as Elizabeth Shaw and the android David, while Jack Paglen and Michael Green have penned the script.

As well as Prometheus, 20th Century Fox has Neill Blomkamp’s fifth Alien movie on its slate, which Scott is also executive producing.
