First trailer and Launch Edition details for Etrian Odyssey Nexus revealed

Etrian Odyssey Nexus is set to launch on the Nintendo 3DS on 5th February 2019 and publisher Atlus has revealed the game’s first trailer and also details of the special Launch Edition.  The Launch Edition is available to pre-order now and the new trailer waits to be seen below…

Etrian Odyssey Nexus is a monumental chapter in Etrian history so the Launch Edition will celebrate with all pre-order and first-run copies of the game to include an exclusive art book featuring the detailed character art of Yuji Himukai and monster art of Shin Nagasawa, a pin badge featuring adorable innkeeper Vivian and a special collector’s box.

The final Etrian installment on 3DS will feature:

  • The Definitive Etrian Odyssey Experience – More classes, characters, gameplay systems and labyrinths to provide the ultimate dungeon-crawling adventure.
  • Create and customise characters from 19 playable classes to create the perfect party.
  • Both newcomers and veterans will have the ability to swap between four distinct difficulty settings, auto-mapping settings plus a grand standalone story.
  • A Love Letter to Etrian – Longtime series mainstays Yuji Himukai (Character Designer), Shin Nagasawa (Monster Designer) and Yuzo Koshiro (Composer) have come together to create the preeminent Etrian experience for the series’ final installment on the Nintendo 3DS.

Etrian Odyssey Nexus arrives on Nintendo 3DS on 5th January 2019. Be sure to pre-order your copy of the Launch Edition and get some fantastic extras.
