Agony developers Madmind Studio announce survival horror Paranoid

Madmind Studio, developers of the successful survival horror Agony, have announced their new title Paranoid which is currently in development.  Paranoid is a survival horror game set for release on Steam and will feature a deep, psychological story combined with dynamic and brutal gameplay.  Madmind have released the first teaser trailer and can be seen below…

In Paranoid players follow the story of 31 year old Patrick Calman who suffered a great trauma after his parents died violently and his sister vanished mysteriously.  Struggling to come to terms with his loss Patrick takes to a life of seclusion and turns his home into a prison.  However, after 13 years Patrick receives a phonecall from someone claiming to be his sister but to find out the truth he will need to leave his life of seclusion and risk horrible experiences that could turn him to mad.

Paranoid features:

  • A brutal combat system.
  • A constant struggle that sees Patrick waver between paranoia and reality.
  • Terrifying opponents that risk driving Patrick mad.
  • A deep plot that combines psychological horror with action and survival.
  • A disturbing atmosphere combining psychosis and surrealism.
  • A realistic visual setting.
  • Three endings to experience depending on the style of gameplay.
  • Cinematic cutscenes.

Paranoid will be available on Steam.
