New trailer for Shadow of the Tomb Raider’s Forge DLC shows off co-op and new modes

November 12, 2018 by Andrew Newton

A new trailer has been released for The Forge, first post-launch DLC for Shadow of the Tomb Raider.  In this new trailer players are given a glimpse of what’s to come in Lara’s latest adventure, there’s also chance to see the new co-op play and new modes.  Watch this new trailer below…

In The Forge DLC, Lara will set about discovering the secrets of a new South American tomb, particularly a temple dedicated to blacksmithing.  Players will uncover new secrets, solve new puzzles and encounter new enemies along the way but there is a new weapon and equipment, including the Umbrage 3-80 and Brocken outfit.

Also coming with The Forge is the introduction of co-op and will provide many puzzles and tasks that will need the cooperation of both players to solve, although these tasks can still be solved solo should you prefer.

As well as the new storyline, the DLC will include a Time Attack Mode, allowing players to race against the clock, and a Score Attack Mode which will see players compete against each other for the higher score.

Experience the lava-flooded Forge of the Fallen Gods to uncover the secrets of a lost city! Conquer this all-new challenge tomb, playable solo or in co-op, to unlock the new Brocken outfit, Umbrage 3-80 weapon, and Grenadier skill. Along the way, Lara must uncover details of a friend’s ancient legacy, and overcome a danger thought to be lost in flames.

The Forge DLC is to be the first of several new expansions coming to the game and will arrive on 13th November.
