Deadline is reporting that Stephen Rider (Lee Daniels’ The Butler) has joined the cast of Daredevil season 2 and will be playing the character of Blake Tower, “a District Attorney for New York City who helps Charlie Cox’s Daredevil — a lawyer in his civilian identity as Matt Murdock — with information to help track down and capture criminals.”

The second season of Daredevil will arrive on Netflix in 2016, with a cast that includes Charlie Cox (Matt Murdock/Daredevil), Deborah Ann Woll (Karen Page), Elden Henson (Foggy Nelson), Matt Gerald (Melvin Potter), Jon Bernthal (Frank Castle/The Punisher), Rosario Dawson (Claire Temple), Elodie Yung (Elektra) and Stephen Rider (Blake Tower).
