AY Games introduces the Pyromancer for Deck of Ashes

February 25, 2019 by Andrew Newton

AY Games has introduced the Pyromancer character for their upcoming single player, rogue lite RPG Deck of Ashes.  This fire wielding character is able to set her enemies on fire and turn the battlefield around her to cinders.  Deck of Ashes will be released on Steam Early Access this April.

Lucia, the Pyromancer, is one of the playable characters coming to the game.  Along with a tragic backstory where she was burnt alive for unintentionally helping release the horrific “Ash Curse” on the world, now she has risen like a phoenix to regain her former life.  Lucia will bring the following three core abilities:

  • Feel the Burn: With this ability, players can set their enemies on fire and watch them wither to ash.
  • Strength Comes From Pain: Players will be able to trade some of their own health to accelerate the incineration of their foes.
  • The Ultimate Sacrifice: Players can set their precious cards and deck on fire to obtain obscenely powerful effects.

Deck of Ashes will be available this April via Steam and will feature:

  • Powerful Battle Decks that will deal a staggering array of combos and unforgiving effects.
  • A hand drawn cursed landscape to explore where danger lurks in every shadow.
  • Unique biomes to discover with biome specific monster types to slay.
  • A procedurally generated realm that ensures players will experience a new challenge every game.
  • One mistake and it’s game over so tread carefully.
